Web audio based guitar recording, effects, synth, and drum sound design

 

 

This is my original composition which is a piece of instrumental guitar music.

 

I found the random pitch shift effect on an electric guitar using web audio coding makes an interesting ‘dreamy’ sound, which I had never heard from any other commercial guitar effect pedals. Inspired by this new sound, I wrote this composition.

 

The guitar is recorded on a webpage using Web ChucK code. I did not use any other commercial guitar effect pedals. I just used Web ChucK code for guitar effects (random pitch shift, auto-wah effect).

 

The electric drum sounds and synthesizer keyboard sounds (which we can play with a laptop keyboard and mouth for pitch bending) are also created and recorded on a Web Chuck page.
